Send to KindleHalloween is coming and this year, instead of hiding under the floorboards with our cousin Francis as per tradition, The Penny Dreadful are going to read some scary stories and we want you to tell us your concise chillers. That’s right, this is some manner of competition! To enter, tweet a one line horror story with the hashtag #PDHorror. Here are some examples to stir your malevolent membranes:
“For sale, antique coffin, once used. #PDHorror”
“I noticed when a butcher knife went missing, but no one noticed when I did. #PDHorror”
“There is a very spooky ghost behind Sharon! #PDHorror”
The ten best entries will be featured on this very website on October 31st and the most horrifying, bone-chilling winner will win a copy of The Penny Dreadful, a cash prize of €6.66 and an original, one of a kind etching of the notorious Ghost Goat of Gorseinon (Last sighted in this comic). The competition runs till midnight of October the 30th and you can enter as many times as you like.
